Who is Trajik?

 

Inspired by the famous masks, both the humor and struggles of life. If you were to ask him, his answer would be that this is what life is all about, “you either laugh or cry at your situations.”

Oh, but that’s not all Trajik is!

 

From a young age, being influenced by his parents’ rock band, Trajik evolved from a head banging toddler, to a pre-teen drummer, a poetry contest winning teenager to a fire-catching Hip Hop artist in the Louisville, Kentucky music scene. And why wouldn’t he? With a soul for rhythm and lyrical flow, it only made sense.

 

Starting with a group of friends in high school, to a solo act, to a rock/hip hop duo with his cousin Upryze with their group, Mirage, he’s won awards, achieved radio airplay, wowed audiences and captivated hearts beyond Louisville.

 

Gaining the attention of Grammy Award Winning Producer, Frankie Biggs, Trajik and Upryze had a chance to go overseas and blow up the world. However, because of mental struggles and family, it wasn’t the right time. Understandably, the adventure was postponed. Understandably, the adventure was postponed.

 

Now, that adventure is back on track. Trajik’s back, baby! Having never lost the love of music he brings fresh air and an expansive mix

over several genres including rock, pop, and country, along with rap in the mix, which showcases his many writing abilities and love for all of them equally without ever forgetting why he writes: The love of the process, the therapy it provides, and the ability to put the struggles of life into words for all. Everything else is just a bonus.
