Before launching The Audio Punch, Daniel C. Morrison served as Head Journalist and Content Director for Alternative Revolt Magazine during its early rise, helping secure interviews, write and edit features, and shape the publication’s voice.
Known for his unconventional interview style and signature “famous last question,” his work connected independent and major artists alike—laying the foundation for what would eventually become The Audio Punch. At its peak, the digital magazine had over 1 million views crashing servers and receiving praise.

Before launching The Audio Punch, Daniel C. Morrison was Co-Creator and served as Head Journalist and Content Director for Alternative Revolt Magazine during its early rise, helping secure interviews, write and edit features, and shape the publication’s voice.

Hip Rock Magazine Era
Following his time with Alternative Revolt, Daniel went on to create and fully operate Hip Rock Magazine, where he handled every aspect of the publication—from interviews and reviews to editing, outreach, and creative direction.
This experience further sharpened his ability to build platforms from the ground up, manage content pipelines, and develop a distinct voice that resonates with both artists and audiences.

The Audio Punch Vision
Today, The Audio Punch is more than just interviews—it’s a growing creative platform built to spotlight artists, engage audiences, and bring personality back into music and media coverage, even including the Indie film community. Combining interactive events that thrive on crowd participation and elements not normally intertwined will start a movement like no other. And that's what The Audio Punch is: A movement to revitalize the music scene, not just in Louisville, Kentucky but worldwide.
