Miss Joshua is comprised of veterans in music spanning across several decades.  Each member served as powerful standouts in various bands not just in-studio but in the live scene, tours, and even winning various contests.  Most notably, Ride It Out, a song raising awareness for the abuse of horses which won both national and international awards.  Melding this talent together to offer a diverse mix of songs not normally covered as well as the classics audiences come to expect has people raving!  They're no strangers to originals either. Producing top quality rock that you swore always belonged among the greats that they cover looks, sounds and feels natural. Covering 70's 80's and 90's rock with some unique twists for added flavor you can see a radio station come to life before your very eyes.

Front woman, Lynny Slaughter, came up with the name Miss Joshua with a clever use of her children's names, one being Louisville's Hip Hop Artist, WhoisTrajik and the other a talented singer in several bands throughout the years, Melissa Slaughter.

Gaining quite the following in the 90's, Miss Joshua was on to big things but circumstances shifted in a such a way that members decided to go their own direction.  Music was always present but Miss Joshua laid dormant until its reinvention in 2025. As Lynny Slaughter rocks vocals and guitars and is joined by original band members, Edmond "Eddie Van" Evans sharing bass and vocals, and Jeremy "Hellcat" Hellard on guitar/vocals and Skip "Rim Tim" Carver on drums/vocals.

If Lynny's name sounds familiar (her author name is Lynny Prince for those following her Scattered Leaves: Legend of Ghostkiller trilogy) it would likely be to her various skills on bass and powerhouse singing in various local bands Dirty Dollz and the Tyrants, Significant Other and Dacoda.

Edmond Evans might ignite the memory as Founder and a major part of Miles Apart, as well as Muddy Roads, and Southern Rush, where his soothing vocals, natural guitar rhythm and driving Bass skills sprinkled their magic for the masses.

Another original member of Miss Joshua, Jeremy Hellard, may seem familiar having explosive talent in Stonehouse, Resonate and Danger Lane while â€‹Skip Carver may have exercised your foot with his impeccable skills in Nervous Energy.
